Based in Brooklyn, Kim Fischer is a set decorator known for crafting imaginative, story-rich environments for film, television, and beyond. After graduating Parsons School of Design she moved to London where she worked on her first film, Fantastic Mr. Fox . She moved back to New York and soon after worked on Moonrise Kingdom, continuing to pursue her passion for telling stories through settings in film and television. She now works as a freelance decorator for various television shows and movies including, At Home with Amy Sedaris, The Other Two, Brittany Runs a Marathon and Saturday Night Live. In 2019 she was nominated for her work as a set decorator on Amy Sedaris. She also does commercials, photo stills and most recently interiors projects. Kim is currently available for select interiors and creative collaborations.
